These gentle mindful yoga classes focus on a relaxed pace and gentler approach to yoga postures. Classes will also include mindful breathing, restorative postures and guided relaxation. Gentle yoga helps with flexibility, strength and well-being while relaxing your mind, increasing your energy, and reducing stress. For beginners and experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class. Regular practice will help improve your quality of life.
TCTSY is an evidence based treatment for complex trauma and complex post-traumatic stress disorder, developed at the Trauma Center in Brookline, Massachusetts, since 2003. TCTSY is used throughout the United States and internationally with children, youth, and adults.
TCTSY classes give participants an opportunity to engage in yoga that specifically speaks to the unique needs of those who have had traumatic experiences, grief, and/or PTSD symptoms.
Sue began practicing yoga in 2005 and has personally experienced the transformational powers of yoga. With the advanced certification as a Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator trained by the world renowned Trauma Center in Brookline, MA she specializes in yoga classes and workshops that emphasize relief from emotional trauma and grief.
